“He [Peter] is lodging with Simon, a tanner, … He will tell you what you must do.” (Acts 10:6)
“Simon the fisherman” would never have stayed in the home of “Simon the tanner!” But Peter the Apostle, with new eyes, is seeing past prejudice and religious rules. At Pentecost, He declared “all flesh” as eligible for the Holy Spirit’s touch.
We, like Peter, will have opportunities to live in the places of revelation we embrace! And when we, like Peter, are in the place of the revelation we receive, we will given even more and will be qualified to a speak prophetic word to those to whom the Lord directs us.
